01
The camera
When you use the camera on /exercise or /demo, your browser downloads a pose-tracking model (Google’s MediaPipe, served from cdn.jsdelivr.net and storage.googleapis.com) and runs it on your phone or computer. Every frame is processed there. Video is never recorded, saved or uploaded.
02
Your session history
When you finish a session on /exercise, its numbers are saved in this browser’s storage, on this device only: the date and time, the reps counted, your peak range of motion (for each side, when you worked both), how long the session took, how clearly the camera could see your joints, the pain score you entered if you entered one, how many exercises you did and which side you worked. No name, no email, no video.
Since 30 September 2026 the same storage also holds, if you use them: your program (which joint and side, whether it follows an operation, and its start date; key jc.episode.v1), your two-week check-ins (the KOOS JR or HOOS JR answers and the score worked out on your phone from the published table; key jc.prom.v1), and any review entry a clinician types on your phone at a visit on /review (minutes, the contact mode and date, a note; key jc.review.v1). None of it is uploaded by this site. The sessions live under jc.sessions.v1. “Delete all of my sessions from this device” on /progress removes all four.
/progress reads them back so you can show or print them for your care team. They are not sent to JointCoach or anyone else, so no surgeon, PT or care team sees them unless you show them.
“Take the summary with you” on /progress puts the summary numbers and fixed labels (never the session table, never anything you typed) into a link you can tap: for the family file on ComfortCard, or for your practice’s PT, who opens it on SurgeonValue, signs in and taps Use this. It travels inside the link itself, which browsers do not send to servers, and only when you tap it. You can also download the same summary as a file.
To delete them, use Delete all of my sessions from this device at the bottom of /progress, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. A different browser or phone starts with an empty history, and a deleted history can’t be restored, because no copy exists anywhere else.
03
Saving a demo result on this device, only if you choose to
On /demo you can tap Save my result on this device. Nothing is saved unless you tap it. If you do, this browser keeps the exercise (squats), the number of reps, the left/right symmetry percentage with a note on how it was estimated, and the date, with the email you type in the save box. It stays in this browser’s storage on this device and is not sent to a server. No video and no raw movement data.
The save box is ComfortCard’s member.js, a SolvingHealth script. There is no account; clearing this browser’s data erases what it kept.
04
Forms
When you send a form on this site, what you type goes to SolvingHealth’s sign-up service and is kept as a JointCoach request so a person can reply:
- the pilot and clinician forms on /pilot and /clinical: your name, email, practice and role, plus anything else you add, such as a phone number, website or notes;
- the request form at the bottom of this page: your email and your request.
Please don’t put patient information in any of these forms.
05
Counting visits
The home page runs a small counter (harnesshealth.ai/track.js) that records which page was opened, the domain of the site that sent you there, and any campaign tags in the link. It sets no cookie and sends no identifier. No other page on this site runs an analytics script.
Until September 21, 2026, /demo, /exercise, /progress and /dashboard also loaded a SolvingHealth page-view script. Its upload was never switched on, so it sent nothing anywhere, but it kept a log of the pages you opened in your browser’s storage. It has been removed, and opening /exercise, /progress or /demo clears the log it left.
06
What else your browser contacts
Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google. JointCoach’s own pages set no cookies and carry no advertising trackers.

Who runs JointCoach, and the policies that apply
JointCoach is part of SolvingHealth. SolvingHealth’s privacy policy covers the accounts and services it runs, including ComfortCard and the sign-up service, and says it does not sell personal information. SolvingHealth’s terms of use apply to this site. This page adds what those documents don’t spell out: what JointCoach itself does with your data.
